The 8043 Motorized Excavator from 2010 is retired, but in 2019, LEGO released the 42100 Liebherr R 9800, an excavator in the PoweredUP series of Technic models. The operators cabin is built, and so are the big side panels which will enclose the superstructure and hide much of the detail.
