About this deal

Pip does go and see DI Hawkins like Ravi asked but he says exactly what she was expecting downplaying her fears and tries to attribute them to her PTSD even when Pip herself is so sure now about the stalker before she leaves she makes sure the police now exactly what she thinks of them. The harassment quickly escalates and Pip begins noticing things popping up around her house that indicate this person may be close by, watching her. As we cross the ¼ mark in the novel, I was excited to see where this was going to go but after how dark the second book got, I am not sure what direction Jackson is going to take this in.

Okay, so maybe it wasn’t entirely implausible (or maybe I’m just too naïve and clueless of how the world works and think too highly of humanity). If you love the characters, the ‘whodunnit’ style and overall the first two AGGGTM novels, I must ask that you NEVER DARE pick up or even go remotely near a copy of this book. Pip has changed understandable considering what she has been thought but I feel she made decisions that pip won't in the first two books. I quickly figured out who the stalker was, but that was just half of the story, and the rest was far more intriguing to read. I probably repeated myself a bunch of times, but as stated before this is a rant 😂 sorry 🙈 To sum up, this was partly a huge disappointment and a terrible way to close off such a great series IMO.We receive a lot of insight into her damaged psyche, and how it's deteriorated her relationships between her family, her friends, and even Ravi. Took me a while to get into in it nearly went on my DNF list but I'm glad I carried on just if the is the final one the ending isn't great it leave it open for another one.

I didn’t expect Pip to resort to that, and I REALLY didn’t expect Ravi to dive head-first into assisting her with her cover-up.yes, i am aware that it has been nearly six months since i read this but the last time i tried talking about this book with a friend who also read it, both of us became chaotic messes five minutes before school started. i always enjoyed holly jackson’s writing style bc of how simple it was and how easy it is to follow. Her entire “The cops won’t believe this even though I just made sure my dna was in his trunk and there is loads of phayical evidence here and on me that I was trapped and also I just connected all the dots on him being the DT killer in three days flat but there’s ~no way~ the police would believe me. Nevertheless, since it burst on the scene two years ago, the A Good Girl's Guide to Murder series has been one of my favourites and one that I would cherish for a long time. After the horrendous events of Good Girl Bad Blood, the chances of Pip getting a normal life are quite slim.
