About this deal

Shortly after his internment in a Dreadnought chassis, the Chapter's Iron Priests fashioned a unique Wolf Claw sized to match his massive chassis in honour of his favoured weapon in his former life. Bjorn wields this mighty weapon, known as Trueclaw, as deftly as ever, ensuring that he continues to live up to his name. It is much more devastating than the weapon he bore as a living Astartes, and is additionally equipped with a built-in Heavy Flamer that allows Bjorn to carbonize anything escaping his claw's attentions. Much like all Dreadnoughts, Venerable Dreadnought close-combat weapons are usually outfitted with either built-in weaponry or weapons that are attached to the underside of the walker's chassis, which usually include either a Storm Bolter or a Heavy Flamer.

On his other arm Bjorn also bears a mighty ranged weapon: most often an Assault Cannon, which is to a Dreadnought like the standard bolter is to an Astartes. However, if the situation requires it, the Iron Priests will equip Bjorn with a Plasma Cannon, Helfrost Cannon , or Twin-linked Lascannons. Kraai - Kraai is a Venerable Dreadnought of the Raven Guard Chapter, who has served his brethren for over 4,000 standard years. The unhallowed and dreaded Lucifer Pattern Dreadnought is one of the oldest patterns of Dreadnought known to current Imperial savants. There exists little information on the Lucifer Pattern, with only vague descriptions implying that the armour configuration of the Castraferrum Pattern Dreadnought is far more to the fore than on the Lucifer. Venerable Dreadnoughts are amongst the oldest war machines fighting on the battlefields of the 41st Millennium. Thus they are revered by other Space Marines, not just as potent warriors of legend, but also as ageless forebears and living embodiments of battles fought long ago. Any Legion Castraferrum Pattern Dreadnought may replace the built-in twin-linked Bolters from their Dreadnought Close Combat Weapon(s) with any of these options:

The term "Proto-Dreadnought" encompasses the myriad Dreadnought patterns that that have been used by humanity since the Dark Age of Technology. These Dreadnoughts, which were capable of being piloted by unenhanced humans, have endured in many idiosyncratic forms both on Mars and with the techno-barbaric warlords of Terra as well as in the many scattered human realms throughout the Age of Strife. With the coming of the Imperium of Man during the Great Crusade in the late 30th Millennium, these Dreadnoughts have been brought together under the banner of the Emperor of Mankind. There exist many patterns of Dreadnought and it is in latter-day conjunction with the superhuman physiology of the Space Marines that this technology has reached its zenith. The Furibundus Pattern Dreadnought was one of the earliest patterns of Dreadnought that was used by the Legiones Astartes. There exists little information on this pattern within current Imperial records. The Furibundus Dreadnought was similar in stature to the ancient Contemptor Pattern Dreadnought, with a more rounded and squat chassis and legs. No one knows what happened to Leman Russ. Some say he disappeared in the Eye of Terror whilst searching for his old friend and rival, the Dark Angels Primarch Lion El'Jonson. Others say that, to this day, he walks disguised among Mankind, watching over the people of his Emperor and guarding them from the powers of Chaos. All that is known for sure is that Leman Russ vanished in 211.M31, nearly two standard centuries after the Emperor was entombed upon the Golden Throne. At that time, all of the Space Wolves warriors and their Wolf Lords, including the Great Wolf himself, were gathered for a feast on Fenris. Blizzard Shield and Storm Bolter (Optional replacements for Fenrisian Great Axe or Storm Bolter and Great Wolf Claw) A Hellfire Dreadnought of the Mantis Warriors Chapter armed with a twin-linked Autocannon and a Missile Launcher.

Bannus - Bannus was a high-ranking member of the Iron Hands Chapter. Having since become entombed in the armoured chassis of a Venerable Dreadnought, he has become a Clan Leader of Clan Kaargul and has a place on the Chapter's Clan Council. Chaplain Dreadnought - Chaplain Dreadnoughts are variants of both the standard Imperial Dreadnought combat walker and its Venerable counterpart. A Chaplain Dreadnought houses the broken remains of an Adeptus Astartes Chaplain. A Chaplain is a specialist Space Marine officer who serves as one of the appointed spiritual leaders of a Space Marine Chapter. Chaplains are the warrior-priests who minister to the spiritual well-being of their fellow Battle-Brothers, instilling in them the values and beliefs of the Chapter and promoting the veneration, or in rarer cases, the actual worship of the Emperor of Mankind. When a Chaplain falls in battle and is damaged beyond repair, he may be placed in a Dreadnought, as Chaplains offer their Battle-Brothers unparalleled morale benefits and peace of mind. A Chaplain afforded the honour being interred within a Dreadnought becomes a highly respected living shrine to the glory of their Chapter. Chaplain Dreadnoughts are treated the same by their Battle-Brothers as any other Venerable Dreadnought, and since many Astartes Chaplains are some of the best warriors a Chapter has to offer they are able to provide the same amount of knowledge and insight as other Venerable Dreadnoughts. If a unit from your army starts your Movement phase embarked within a TRANSPORT model, that unit can disembark in that phase. When a unit disembarks from a TRANSPORT model, set it up on the battlefield so that it is wholly within 3" of that TRANSPORT model and not within Engagement Range of any enemy models. If, for any reason, a disembarking model cannot be set up, that model’s unit cannot disembark.

Rylanor - Rylanor was a Venerable Dreadnought and hero of the Emperor's Children Legion during the Great Crusade. He served as the III Legion's "Ancient of Rites," and had been mortally wounded battling the Aeldari in the late 30th Millennium, solar decades before the outbreak of the Horus Heresy. Following his wounding, Rylanor was interred within the adamantium shell of a Contemptor Pattern Dreadnought. Rylanor was part of the Primarch Fulgrim's Honour Guard by tradition, though he was increasingly troubled by the direction the III Legion moved in after the assault on the xenos world of Laeran. At the last minute, he traded places for the combat drop onto Istvaan III with Captain Saul Tarvitz of the 10 th Company, who was supposed to go instead as one of the Emperor's Children Loyalists marked for betrayal and death. Betrayed unto his own death by the duplicitous actions of the Warmaster Horus, Rylanor rallied the surviving Loyalist Emperor's Children and fought against the Traitors during the Battle of Istvaan III. He survived the battle, and spent the next ten thousand Terran years planning to gain vengeance upon the man he truly blamed for the great betrayal -- his own Primarch, Fulgrim. Though Rylanor's attempt upon the Daemon Primarch's life ultimately failed and finally ended his own long life, it would leave a grim mark upon Fulgrim's soul forever after. Once you have selected an eligible unit to declare a charge, you must select one or more enemy units within 12" of it as the targets of that charge. The targets of a charge do not need to be visible to the charging unit. Venerable Dreadnoughts often are a drain on their Chapter's resources, for their millennia-old pilot becomes harder and harder to rouse with the passing of time, and their even more ancient chassis are prone to malfunction, with the parts needed to update them no longer available. A sizeable portion of a Master of the Forge's attentions is spent caring for his Chapter's Ancients, with the ever-lurking risk of the Venerable Dreadnought simply not waking again. A Venerable Dreadnought is a variant of the standard Imperial Castraferrum Pattern Dreadnought combat walker used by the Chapters of the Adeptus Astartes whose occupant is regarded as one of the oldest and wisest Space Marines still in service to the Imperium of Man. As the Wolf-King tore through the Khornate horde towards his quarry, he witnessed Bjorn's duel first-hand. Russ could only look on in pride as Bjorn deftly rolled beneath a blow attempting to cut him in half, then clambered up the Daemon's towering frame to tear out the Arch-slaughterer's throat with his trusty Wolf Claw. In the aftermath of the battle, Russ came to Bjorn in person and exonerated him in front of the entire Legion, holding his oath fulfilled. Any Mark IV or Mark V Castraferrum Dreadnought may replace its Multi-Melta with any of these options: There are several Castraferrum Dreadnought variants that are used exclusively by certain Chapters, and these Dreadnoughts are used only by these Chapters and any Successor Chapters they may have. The known Chapter-Specific Castraferrum Dreadnought variants are as follows:
