About this deal

Hit Z Road offers a starkly different gameplay experience compared to most zombie games. Every round players bid on which route they wish to take from a selection of cards that have much-needed resources - and oft-avoided zombie hordes. Ammo can be used to shoot zombies with little risk, while adrenaline is needed to avoid getting your passengers killed in the middle of a big fight. When it comes to family based area and monster management games, Horrified feels like the next natural step on from Zombie Kidz: Evolution – although without the legacy element.

Zombie Teenz: Evolution Review - Tabletop Gaming Zombie Teenz: Evolution Review - Tabletop Gaming

Whatever flavour of zombie game you're into, they all require loaded guns, steeled nerves, and juicy brains.

In Zombie Kidz Evolution (2018), you fought to rid your school of the roaming zombie teachers and bar the gates. Zombie Teenz Evolution (2020) continues the story: The school is your safe base but your town is still in danger of being run over by zombies. You have to find the antidote! You start out easy City of Horror Beg your friends to let you live, then leave them to die In City of Horror, your friends can be just as deadly as the undead. Throughout each game you'll be making tough decisions, like whether or not you have the food supplies to take on additional survivors, or choosing to mercy kill one of your own infected characters before they start a chain reaction that wipes out your entire colony. But as my boys got older (currently they’re 10, 8, and 6) their desire to play the original Zombie Kidz diminished. So picture my delight when I started seeing talk of a sequel of sorts, especially one which was billed as the first legacy game for kids!

Last Night on Earth: Embrace the silly tropes and ridiculous characters of the cheesy horror genre in this very self-aware zombie adventure. Event Cards can be good for the heroes (no horde moves for a turn) but are usually bad (more than one horde spawns or moves).

Gameplay doesn't get much simpler than Zombie Dice, which consists of one cup and 13 dice. Players take turns rolling three random dice from the cup, trying to eat as many brains as possible while avoiding shotgun blasts - the zombies' natural predator. On their turn a player must first roll a custom die which determines where a new zombie is placed onto the board. The die has 6 differently colored faces (red, green, blue, purple, yellow, and white). Roll anything other than white and you must place the next zombie in line onto that colored space, roll a white and you’re spared for that turn; a one in 6 chance of a temporary retrieve from the horde waiting just outside. Moreover, you can mix and match the rules as you see fit, making the game easier or harder for the heroes. This high level of scalability makes Zombie Teenz Evolution not only very replayable by the same group, but highly suitable to be shared with a wide range of player types. Art and Components The first envelope, opened on step 5 gives one of the heroes a power, but also speeds up zombie arrivals. The third envelope is where things get interesting, as one of the zombie types upgrades, which brings a real challenge to the players. There are spoilers in the next image gallery, so we've made the images slightly smaller than normal if you wish to skip past them. Hit Z Road Survive a post-apocalyptic road trip by bidding on the best route A very different kind of zombie survival game, Hit Z Road focuses on its players' journey across the USA.

Zombie Kidz Evolution | Le Scorpion Masqué

Younger folk in the family will love the excitement of opening up these envelopes to see what’s inside and then immediately want to try out the new stuff. Which is doable as each game takes around 15 minutes. The standee characters are full of sass and have a little bit of diversity about them. The custom die is fun too. The rest of the cards, characters, the zombie manual and the board are all good looking. Dawn of the Zeds Protect the town of Farmingdale against the undead horde If you're looking for a single-player zombie game, Dawn of the Zeds is among the best choices. At the start of the game, players are in the red room, with a zombie located at each entryway. Turns are simple: first, the active player rolls the zombie die – which adds a zombie into one of the coloured rooms (it’s worth mentioning that the board is double sided, with the ‘Night’ side having easier access to all of the rooms – this is used for two player game sessions). So let’s dive into Zombie Kidz Evolution and talk about the best gaming experience I’ve had to date with my kids.
