About this deal

The author is back with his new book ‘Next In Line’ where the fate of crown and country is uncertain. But a prisoner they've put in jail has a duplicitous attorney, Booth Watson (who for whatever reason is always referred to by both his first and last name) more intent on stealing his client's money than defending him and an ex-wife, Christina, who doesn't care about the money but wants the artwork he's accumulated over the years.

We quickly learn that Warwick has a major case that’s followed him his entire life; Miles Faulkner, a mastermind criminal who went so far as to stage his own death to get Warwick off his tail. I think this may be my first Jeffrey Archer book, although it’s possible I read some of his first novels back in the day! There’s quite a bit going on in this chapter of the William Warwick series and the weaving of HRH Princess of Wales into the story was nicely done.This may result in small marks to the dustjacket and title page, please also bear in mind that each signature will be a little different from the one we show here. Gifted with beauty and spirit, but above all with indomitable will, she sets out in pursuit of an ambition that dwarfs both Kane and Abel, as she battles for the highest office of all .
