About this deal

The only negative points are that the insert bit and te handle aren't perfectly joined and they let in water when washing.

Starting from the end, wrap one strand around the tips of your thumb and two or three fingers one and a half times then loop the strand around the bunch and place into the pregreased pan. Eggs – This dough is very similar to my Salted Honey Parker House Rolls and it’s because that dough is delicious. I bought this item after having tried many other garlic crushers and whilst they were all fairly good they certainly didn't press all the right buttons for me. I was skeptical that this plastic-y looking thing would really be that great but thought I'd give it a go as I hate normal garlic mashers so always use a knife which doesn't get it all that fine. If you don’t have instant yeast, you can use active dry yeast by adding the active dry yeast to the warm milk (don’t add the butter yet).Flavor Tip: Save some of the garlic butter to brush onto the knots as they come out of the oven, then top each with fresh parmesan and chopped parsley. In a small pot, set over medium-low heat, warm the milk, butter, until butter is melted, being sure it’s not too hot (it should be lukewarm) or else the yeast won’t rise.

I added about 1/4 cup of finely shredded mozzarella and 1 tablespoon grated Parmesan to the filling. While I was twisting the garlic I decided to see what would happen if I just put the rosemary leaves in with the garlic and not chop them by hand. Using those garlic presses were just too hard to squeeze, hard to get the skin out of and hard to get the pressed garlic out of the teeth. Some say it's hard to get the garlic out from the prongs, but I do it in seconds - just use a pastry brush.

Alternatively, cover the bowl with a lid or plastic wrap and allow it to rise in the fridge for 12 to 24 hours.

I wiggled the left hand out of the dough knot and continued to tuck the end of the strand through the bread until it came almost through the top.

Italian Seasoning: If you can’t find a spice labeled “Italian Seasoning” in the spice aisle, use dried oregano, dried basil, and/or dried parsley instead.
